Broad Head Bull Pin
Broad Head Bull Pin
The primary use for our Broad Head Bull Pins is aligning bolt holes in steel frame construction and railroad work. When holes on two pieces to be bolted together don’t line up exactly, the bull pin is inserted through them and — if necessary — pounded in until they align. Then a bolt is inserted into a neighboring hole. The same method is used in assembling scaffolding, lighting trusses, and other metal structures fastened with bolts or rivets. Bull pins have proven valuable for innumerable “off-label” uses too, such as bolting automotive transmission bell housings to engines. Almost anywhere that holes on heavy, stubborn parts need to be aligned, a bull pin can come in handy.
Our Broad Head Bull Pins feature a larger striking surface than standard bull pins for easier, safer use. The broad head also makes the pins easier to grip and easier to remove if they become stuck. Warwood Tool Broad Head Bull Pins are proudly hand-forged in West Virginia by U.S. workers using premium U.S. steel.
