Bull Pins are used primarily for aligning bolt holes in steel frame construction and railroad work. The tapered pin is inserted through the holes, aligning them as it is driven in.

Bull pins are frequently used in the same manner for assembling metal scaffolding, stage lighting trusses, and heavy pieces of machinery. They also prove useful for a range of other applications — particularly auto repair, where they are used to align parts like sway bars and control arms. Standard Warwood Tool Bull Pins are available in a wider range of sizes than our Broad Head Bull Pins and are hand-forged in West Virginia to the highest standards using American steel.
